- Roast pork with grapes
Mix all the ingredients for the marinade. Place the meat in a deep pot and pour the marinade mixture all over the pork. Leave in the fridge for 24 hours making sure you turn the meat a couple of times.
On the next day take the meat out of the marinade, but do not throw the mixture – you will need it later!
Preheat the oven at 190C°. Place the meat in a stew pan and season it with salt and black pepper. Pour 150ml water on top and cover with aluminum foil. Bake for 1,5-2 hours.
In the meantime, melt the butter over the hob, add the grapes and fry for 4-5 minutes. (this will be the garnish!) Leave aside.
Take the meat out of the oven and transfer it to another pot. Heat the alcohol and pour on top of the pork. Then strain and add the sauce in which the meat was baked as well.
Add the grape juice, the white wine and the marinade that you saved. An explosion of tastes!
Let it all boil for another 10 minutes or so. Serve with some fried grapes on top.
- Fried toasts with ham and pears
Take the and mix together with all herbs and spices into a bowl, stirring all the time. When you have a homogenous paste, leave aside.
Place 4 of the bread slices over the countertop. Firstly, place a slice of ham on each of them and then a piece of cheese. Cover with more ham, followed by some sweet pear cuts. Finally, put a piece of feta and cover with the rest of the bread slices.
Use the herbal butter to grease each toast on the outer parts.
Then it’s take for cooking! Put each toast on a frying pan, cooking for about 6 minutes on each side. Yummy!
