"Avramoglou" Coriander powder 100g
Coriander powder is derived from the seeds of the coriander plant. It adds a mild flavour and aroma to sweet and savoury food preparations. Most commonly, it is bought as whole dried seeds and ground as and when needed, but it can also be found as a readymade powder.
Coriander is widely used in Egyptian, Indian and Cypriote cuisine. It is an ingredient of curry and it goes very well with meat (pork, grilled poultry, venison) spicy sauces, cheese, vegetables and mushrooms. In Algeria they cure their meat with salt and coriander. Coriander root, when ground, is a main ingredient in Chinese cuisine. It is used in bakery, pastry as well as in winery and in making liqueur and is also used to add flavour in beer.
